If you're an international customer (non U.S.), you might notice a duplicate or similar charge on your bank account. Although very rare, it could be an authorization hold, a temporary hold by PayPal to ensure payment goes through. These holds usually resolve in a few days and are not controlled by Hells Headbangers.
If the duplicate charge doesn't disappear, please log in to your PayPal account, take a screenshot of the incorrect charge's transaction details, and send it to us along with the PayPal transaction ID for quicker resolution.
We apologize for any inconvenience. Please understand that this is a PayPal policy beyond our control. Also, the authorized amount is not deposited into the Hells Headbangers bank account, so we are unable to manage a refund before PayPal removes the hold.
More about Authorization Holds:
Payment processors use authorization holds to ensure sufficient funds are available before completing a transaction, reducing declined payments or overdrafts. This helps reduce the risk of declined payments or overdrawing an account.
Not all transactions or customers require authorization holds. PayPal's risk management algorithms determine when to place an authorization hold based on factors such as the customer's transaction history, the merchant's reputation, and the amount of the transaction.
Authorization holds are temporary and should automatically expire in a few days if the transaction isn't completed. If you have any concerns about an authorization hold on your PayPal account, you can contact PayPal's customer support for assistance.
