Why is my CD not factory sealed?

All CDs that arrive to our warehouse without plastic shrinkwrap are carefully inserted into resealable plastic sleeves (of course the actual playable disc is housed in a jewel case). Most small or independent record labels DO NOT factory seal their CDs so keep in mind the more obscure the band is the more likely a factory sealed version does not exist. Regardless, the CD is brand new and never played. We DO NOT ship CDs without jewel cases.
